Covid Booster and Flu Clinics

Updated:  18th January 2022

We will be running a further vaccine clinic on the morning of Thursday 27th January at Buckingham Community Centre.

We are able to offer 1st, 2nd , 3rd and booster vaccines ( 3rd doses are for people who are immunocompromised) The vaccine for this clinic will be Pfizer.

Over the last few months we have sent thousands of texts inviting those who are not yet fully vaccinated and we will no longer be doing targeted invitations to over 16 year olds.

We are assuming now that those who are not responding to the invitations are booked elsewhere or are declining the vaccination and do not want (or cannot have) any further doses.  If you have not been invited and would like a 1st, 2nd or booster dose please email in to admin.theswanpractice@nhs.net and we will send you a link – please add your mobile number, name and date of birth.

For those patients who are aged 12 and over who are classed as immunocompromised, and are having 4 doses, we are contacting you by phone-call, we will check your dates and status and book you in the clinic or give you a letter so you can access other clinics/ walk in sites.  If you have not heard from us please email admin.theswanpractice@nhs.net – we will then contact you to arrange your vaccines.

For children aged 12-15 – the schools are running this programme and yet if your child has missed or cannot get the vaccine please email us and we will help book this.  For children aged 5 – 11 again the schools are doing this but unfortunately we cannot book these at our site.

If you have vaccine information missing from your Covid pass and you did not have your vaccine with The Swan Practice please contact 119 and speak to the Vaccine Resolution Service who will be able to help with missing or incorrect vaccine details. We cannot help you with this unfortunately.

We are continuing to offer flu vaccinations at our clinics,  if you haven’t had a flu vaccine and you just require that alone please contact reception to book an appointment.

Depending on numbers and demand we will potentially be offering another clinic on 24th February 2022 as part of this catch up phase, but we urge anyone who has not had their booster to contact us to book in as soon as possible.

Thank you
